How Cortiam Came To Be
We’re probably a lot like you – working professionals who want an awesome real estate agent on their side to facilitate efficient and hassle-free property transactions.
But when we entered the marketplace, we didn’t have Cortiam … and we made the mistake of putting our info into a real estate aggregator site … and then we got blasted with robocalls and spam.
Our privacy was compromised, our frustration was through the roof, and our search for the right real estate agent continued. After understanding how widespread this aggravation with “the system” is, we decided to do something about it.

We’re tech execs, so identifying pain points and figuring out a way to fix them is our bread and butter. We’re all about throwing everyday logic, creative problem solving tactics, and a whole lot of research at a problem, and then coming up with an elegant solution. In this case: Cortiam.

For sellers and buyers, the Cortiam mission means setting your parameters – so, commission rate and contract terms for sellers, and agent wishlist for buyers – and then perusing agent profiles to see who might be a match.
You, as the buyer and/or seller, are in the driver’s seat. Your privacy stays in tact, and you don’t have to face the inevitably uncomfortable negotiation conversation.
At Cortiam, we believe you can do good and do well.
Some are skeptical of Cortiam – and they should be! There are a lot of websites out there that make empty promises and hide important details in the fine print. We know this because we’ve been there, and we’re not here to do that.
Cortiam is designed to be a win-win for all parties. Property sellers and seekers find a great real estate agent; agents find great clients. There’s no catch.
