How Sellers & Buyers Use Cortiam
Property sellers and buyers find their perfect real estate agent in four easy steps.
1. Create Your Free Account
Enter some super basic info and set your password – that’s it!
At Cortiam, we’re all about privacy. Your name, contact information, and address will not be shared with any agents until you choose to share it.
2. Set Your Terms
With Cortiam, there’s no need to negotiate real estate agent fees. Sellers choose your ideal commission rate and contract length. (Buyers, you skip this step.)
Industry standard for sellers is 6% commission, split between the agents. Contracts are typically 3 to 6 months. But these are your terms; you decide what’s right for you!
3. Post Your Property or Wishlist
Sellers upload photos and share some details about their property. The only eyes on your property are prospective agents.
Buyers share their agent wishlist, including specializations and attributes.
4. Select Your Agent
Agents introduce themselves to sellers of interest; buyers find and compare real estate agents of interest.
Spend time with agent profiles to see if their areas of expertise, experience, and terms meet your needs. If they do, it’s a match!

Agents join Cortiam for a nominal monthly fee.
Having skin in the game makes you play with intention, right? Agents on Cortiam engage with sellers and seekers they’re legitimately interested to work with. Our platform is designed to expand your visibility while generating qualified real estate leads.
2. Create A Profile
Agents share their background, areas of expertise, and experience.
Selling and buying property is a big deal. Stakes can be high; decisions can be swift. Vibing with and trusting your agent is key. Their profiles give great intel for starting a conversation.
3. Peruse Properties & Wishlists
Agents review coming-soon properties and meet buyers on a mission.
Different agents gravitate to different kinds of properties – some want waterfront, others prefer the mountains, and still others stick to commercial property.
4. Reach Out
If a property is in an agent’s wheelhouse, they introduce themselves and accept or counter the seller’s terms.
If a buyer digs an agent’s credentials and attributes, they engage with the agent directly. No unsolicited messages.
If client and agent agree to work together, it’s a match!
